Fad of the land: Idiomag

So how's this for a concept: a magazine, all about the bands you love, that doesn't actually create any of its own content.

Freaky, but not fantasy. Idiomag does just that, simply by leveraging on the glut of content already available online. Better yet, you can tailor-make it to your tastebuds by narrowing down the scope of coverage to the artistes you're into.

So key in those bands of choice, and voila! A stack of news bites, articles, videos, pictures and other whatnots are generated. Add your playlist, vote for or against selected articles, discover similar artistes.

It's way rad. Not fully perfect though. For one, it's a little limited in terms of who actually provides the content (mostly the Billboard-friendly bigwigs). And while the interface is undoubtedly glitzy, whereby content is arranged in flash-animated pages that can be flipped by dragging the corners with your mouse pointer (much like, it's also heavy on the system.

But enough waffling. I'm gonna create my homemade mag. Let's test it out. Now who are my all-time faves again?...

Gimme gimme!

Err, and how is Mando Diao is linked to Nic...

Whut-the...this is getting weird...

Arrrgggghhhh!! Stop it, stop it! Okay, so they do know how to match like with like.
